Hello I dont know if there is something wrong with my GT70 or not. Im using the 3DMark DEMO and my Firestrike scores are 4378. On my Asus G750JM with the 860m my Firestrike score was 4309. Im just wondering if this is normal? I dont play any demanding games to I cant tell a difference but 4300 seems a bit low for an 870M.

4600 - 4700 seems to be "normal" results. Try the latest nVidia 337.88 notebook WHQL - seems to be a fast driver.

It's not throttling from heat, is it?

That's about what I got on my GT70 w/ 870m. Bit lower than I expected, but no throttling or extreme heat. Fans on normal or max had no effect. Although I generally don't put a lot of weight on synthetic benchmarks.

Maybe try some others and see how it does.

Worth checking the temps and taking a screenshot.
