My laptop has been randomly making a rather loud "click" sound, which I believe to be the Windows 8 lock/unlock sound being played through my speakers.

However, sometimes there is a different (at least, I think it's different) "click" sound that comes from the right side of the laptop and is much quieter than the noise mentioned above. When this sound happens, it does NOT seem to come from the speakers, but it's so much quieter than the previously mentioned sound that I can't tell where it's coming from.

Both sounds (assuming there are in fact 2 different sounds) happen randomly and I cannot reproduce them. They happen approximately every 10-20 minutes.

This happens even after a clean install of Windows 8, before installing any drivers/utilities/programs. It also happens after all the required drivers/utilities have been installed.
