    GT70 - ONC , COD : Black OPS II Retail

    When i put this cd/dvd in drive, it goes nuts, high rev sound , and seems to be off balance, i even xchanged tonite a new set , it does the same thing. When i put a different game to install no problem. works... no high rev sound, or sounds like un choppy sound.Neone else have this problem ?

    Lens might not be able to read the disc correctly, so the motor is spinning up for no good reason. Have you tried putting the disc into another drive to see if the same thing happens? Optics are not exactly my forte.

    Sorry for the late reply, I found a program recenlty, that can read ur drive, to find out that the drive blocks SecuRom media. Black Ops II , and wolfenstein dont run, they both act the same way. little vibrations. nothing detected in drive.

    Ah, so it's software hindrance. ;) A Dell I worked on some time ago had a similar issue; the owner thought it wasn't working at all, when all it was was the media. Some movies I put in worked, and some didn't - all the discs were in good condition.

    Is there a crack for that? Or perhaps different firmware?
