Well my new laptop just arrived but there s a problem that really makes me sad since its a brand new one. The right click button on the laptop is like 1/2 responsive compared to the left click. I have to click a bit harder in order to perform a right click. Is it an intended setting? Or is it just my laptop or can I somehow adjust it? I couldnt find an option in synaptics settings

You can try removing the driver first, then verify the button again.
If it's doing the same thing then it could have been defective.

How do I verify it again? Simply reinstalling the drivers through the CD?
I reinstalled the drivers, restarted the laptop a few times, it seems like the 'turn touchpad on / off button's light doesn't work anymore

    Thank you very much

How about the problem you were having? Is it gone or not at all?
You can reinstall the driver from the driver disc.

Its not gone. After reinstalling the drivers the same sensitivity problem is still occurring. Though I seem to have messed that touchpad toggle too :(

No, only remove first, then test touchpad to verify before you do the reinstall.

It's likely the button itself and not the driver. Sometimes production lines miss things. You can test the driver as Kevin suggested by uninstalling it and then reinstalling it, but you may end up needing an RMA or an exchange.
