The webcam in my 1762 not work with skype (windows8, try already both Metro version and standalone install version)

The webcam can be function inside the option page of skype, That's mean you can see your face for testing the function of webcam.

But it doesn't work when a video call is started. It will auto shut-down everytime activated.

And also it doesn't work inside the "take picture with your webcam as profile photo" function. Everytime it only give a blank results...

Anyone have the same experience? How to solve??

    Thank you very much!

Probably a faulty driver. Have you already tried reinstalling a different version - if available?

Prostar, where can I download the webcam driver?

In MSI website, it always shows "use windows driver"......
