    GT685 HDD Noise Problem

    Hello,

    I recently purchased a GT685, with a single 750 gb HDD. When I'm idling, or browsing the net, the HDD sounds normal, but once I start doing something, like say start playing battlefield 3, or even running the windows experience index, there is a noticeable high pitch noise.

    At least, I think its the HDD giving off this noise.

    If you think it's an unhealthy noise then I would contact NCIX and look into a replacement machine. Some HDDs can make a bit more noise when accessing than others, so if you are aware of how that sounds and this is not it then I would not trust it.

    They were offering 200 dollars off, and when comparing it to the GT683, I took the graphics card over the other model.
