I'm going to use this thermal pad (0.5mm) with my 570m. I saw some people here, ie Meaker, posted that they are using it. So can you guys who experience using the pad with 570m in GT683DX/16f2 tell me whether it fit or how is your experience With it?

That's perfect to use 0.5mm thermal pads with GTX570M (or 580M) in MSI 16F2/GT680/3. Though I advise you to use the 5w/mk Phobya 0.5mm since they are a bit more sticky than the 7w/mk (which to me are not sticky at all but some could use them so I guess I was pretty bad :p)

I have the 7w/mk pads, they are tricky to use though.

I completely missed your retailer status pau1ow, congrats, let me know if you have any parts I'd be interested in, i'll keep you in mind when advising people.

How are they tricky, Meaker? Not sticky like pau1ow said or hard or what?

Since the heatsink has lateral movement they slide.

Yeah it is not sticky and really tricky to install, but after install successfully temp down 5C. Great!

What I found out during the modification is that the stock pads are too thick and prevent the heatsink to fully touch the GPU die. Now the contact is great. I tried to change my previously pasted MX-4 to Phobya Hegrease Extreme, because SkineeLabs test show me that this paste is the best, almost equal to Indigo Extreme in performance, but I return to MX-4 as it give me 2C better temp than phobya one.

Temp in OCCT GPU 20 Minutes Run Clock 715/1800 Stock Voltage (My P1 Clock using Svet Tool BIOS mod)

    Stock Pads/Stock Paste Max 83C
    Stock Pads/MX-4 83C
    Phobya XT Pads/MX-4 78c

My gaming clock(P0) is 800/1800 overvolted from 0.85v to 0.9v, but I don't wanna run Stress Test with it. I afraid it gonna get fried.

It's not gonna get fried, it's just gonna hit 95 Celsius and start throttling in order to be able to keep it at 95. I've tried it.

Mx-4 seems to respond perfectly to the pressure of the heatsinks.
