    Hi,

I'm writing to comment that the battery of my gt683r self drains about a 20% a day with the computer completely shut down (no hybernation nor suspension).

Is this normal? Is this happening to anyone?

In my case, I previously owned a gx660 and its battery only self-drained about 3% a day, but a 20% is a lot more. This makes the laptop charge the battery every day I use it, even if I used it plugged to AC, lowering it's lifespan.

I had not really tested it, but have to say I have not noticed this with mine (16F2 is the barebone of the GT683R). Might have to test this.

well, I have to clarify that this only happens when the battery is plugged into the laptop. If i remove it it doesnt drain. So I think the problem its not the battery. Somehow the computer keeps using it, even when it is off.

I've updated the bios to the latest version. Let's see if this has been fixed.
