Hi,
I ended up buying the GT627 in the marketplace and I would like to know if it will support quad core CPUs.
Has anyone tried it?
Is there a difference between the GT627Q and the GT627?
EDIT: this website seems to say that it does support quads:

Well ok then.
Just if anyone wants to know, somebody did try it with a Q9100 and it worked:

>.> not sure how you got that it did work from that post because it does not mention anything about getting a q9100 working in a gt627 only in the gx720. He only said he got a higher score with his dualcore than a q9100 in a gx 720. The quadcores only work in the Q version. This has already been confrirmed by zfactor as he tried several quadcore cpu's on the 15.4 inch model. -

Ok, it was late at night and I just read that whole thread (800 posts+) so maybe I made a mistake
I'm still not sure. Because -
zfactor already tried with 2 quadcore cpu's and they wouldn't work. If you do try it your gonna want to make sure you use the oldest revision of the cpu possible to increase your chances.
