You can get it directly from the nVIDIA Website. Go Here (186.03 is the latest) The one on your system is 176.88

Go to GeForce->9M Series Notebooks-> Select Your OS then Search

Open the Nvidia control panel (advanced) then look at the bottom left. It will say "system information" click there and it will report the "installed" driver package version.

Check your installed version as I posted previously. If the VGA version is the same as installed this is what you will end up with.

You downloaded 9M (Notebooks) and vista 32 correct?

The driver on the nVIDIA website I provided is the full package and the latest driver for your video card. You may want to ensure you downloaded the proper one for the OS loaded on your system. If it is a stock GT627 it is Vista HP 32-Bit.

Once you have the new graphics driver loaded you will see version # 8.15.11.8603 in the Device Manager for your GPU.

Let us know how this works for you. :)

I downloaded it, 113mb or something. in the feature select window, the only checkable option is HD audio

If I search through the extracted files and try to open the setup for the video one, it says that there are no compatible drivers

I'm trying out the dOX drivers too. I read somewhere that they heat up your laptop more. Is this true

I havn't had any heat problems with the DOX driver. Overclocked my bios a little to get 9400 on 3d06.

That is very strange. Have you uninstalled the previous video driver before you install this video driver?

You can use the Dox Driver also, it will not cause your GPU to overheat.
