    Hello,

I'm buying a new laptop-online. I need a computer for 3D-modeling, structural analysis, and of course, gaming.
I am choosing between two laptops, costing about the same, but each one better than the other.
I intend to buy a 16gb ram and 250gb ssd minimum (M.2 or mSATA).I have 24 'HD screen, so I do not care if I have a 15.4 or 17'

Could you please suggest what is better? and why is it better.

    Thank you verry much!

    970M is clearly faster.

970M is way more efficient so way cooler AND 20-35% faster, you choose.

and... the GT72 have a better PSU with 230W, the GT60 has only a 180W PSU. You can use up to 4 m2 2282 SSDs in the GT72.

    GT72 with 970m is a better choice.

Certainly the GT72 is the best choice like the other guys suggested but between the two GT60 I would choose the 970m version, because both gaming and OpenCL performance is better (with lower temps too).
