I understand that the GT60 model has two hard drive slots
Are they both sata 3?

This link makes me assume one drive is sata 2 and one is sata 3....
The next question if they were both sata 3 would it support raid 0 of two ssds? or is the raid card only apart of the gt70 super ssd msata option
Additionally, does the GT60 support overclocking of the processor such as the 3720qm? or is it locked up similar to the NP9150

They are indeed SataII and SataIII connections. I wouldn't recommend putting SSDs in the raid array though. They're plenty fast already and just causes potential trouble should a drive fail or in the case you lose Trim when putting them in Raid. MSI in their super raid have a specific setup that makes that a non-issue as they have a controller that makes the SSD appear as a single drive to the OS, but doing it yourself will likely be more of a headache than anything.
The GT60 will not support overclocking the processor. -
