After 3 successive ASUS ROG notebooks I jumped ship over to MSI and just bought a Dominator GT60 (423 variant). I'll be posting a full review in a few days.

My question is I'm not sure if I have just two SATA III spots or mSATA and a regular SATA. I know that the 423 variant is not supposed to have mSATA but it's also supposed to have VGA whereas mine has the 2 MDP + 1 HDMI configuration rather than the 1 HDMI + 1 VGA + 1 MDP that the MSI site says.

The easiest way to find out would just to open it, I know, but I ran into this warranty sticker (pics below) and I'm not sure what I can open without voiding it. I'm going to put in an SSD but don't want to void my warranty 2 days in. I would have bought it from Xotic to avoid such non-sense but it was a gift and didn't have that choice. So is this just a warning that there is a warranty sticker inside the case, or is this the sticker with a screw opening below it? Or quite simply where is the warranty voiding sticker?

    Thanks for the help!

All IPS models are the new motherboard with HDMI and 2x mini DP since that is the one with the internal dp connection for the ips display.

It will have 2x2.5" bays, but you can visually confirm by looking if there is a green pcb along the whole length of the slot on top of the optical drive then it has msata, if it looks black then it's a connector for the 2.5".
