    Hello all,

I'm going to be buying a GT60 0NE next week and am curious if they have come with super raid.

If so, what would be a good raid 0 configuration?

If not, how well do SSD / Hybrid drives work together?

    Thanks!

I have heard rumors of such in Asian markets, but to my knowledge, this is currently only available in GT70 0NE models.

Rather than creating an entire thread for this topic, it's probably better watching and posting here:

Raid 0 is to make two hard drives as one hard drive (stripe together). In some applications such as Adobe or CS 5, this feature will run the program faster.

However, Raid 0 makes no difference on most of programs. And you are taking a chance your hard drives will die earlier than normal.

Ummmmm, that's a very basic explanation of RAID0, but I think the primary question was, 'Will the GT60 come with SuperRAID'?

The default config only has a single 750 GB HDD and it is NOT a hybrid.

    Hi,
I am wondering if anyone has set up two external monitors on their GT60, one over VGA and one over HDMI. I am hoping to get two matching external monitors, one which would mirror the laptop monitor and the other which would extend the desktop. I know you can do this with some laptops but not all as some graphics cards send the same signal to the USB and VGA port.
    Thanks for your help!

Hey buddy, I don't know what you meant by "USB" exactly, but I bought this laptop (MSI GT60 + NVidia GTX680m) with the understanding that I'd be able to drive up to 4 displays.

Unfortunately, the MSI GT60 can only drive TWO monitors at a time. You can have the built in display + 1 external display (HDMI or D-Sub AKA VGA). I think it's because the GTX 680m is connected to the display outputs through the crappy integrated intel graphics card

I don't understand what this has to do with SuperRAID. Maybe the owners forum is a better place?
