I'm using my stock GT60 0NE-249US and playing Guild Wars 2. I've noticed that it gets unstable and the FPS starts to dropped incredibly until I press the fan button icon at the top to put the fans at full speed. It seems the fans are not ramping up as the system gets hotter. Is there a driver missing or something that is supposed to control the fan speeds instead of me turning up the fans at full blast? Also, I have not yet repasted the heatsinks, that still to come.

Double check your video driver and Optimus driver; you may need to re-install or upgrade the version. Also, what are your temps at before you manually turn the fans up? Perhaps the threshold is set too high, or is not being reached for the fans to rev.

You can edit the fan tables using pherein's fan control program to do it automatically (note my latest update in the GT60 thread), though you might need to clean the heatsinks or do a repaste job if temperatures are a bit too high.
