    Hi Everyone,

I got a problem with boot time. Task manager (Win 10 Home) reports a 23 second BIOS boot time. This is of course too slow. As a comparison my GT60 as a 3.4 Bios time.

I noticed a couple of things strange in the BIOS settings.

    1) No matter what I cannot set Fast Boot to be enabled. It keeps getting disabled.

    2) The storage configuration shows no PCIE storage, which is strange since a Samsung 950 256 Pro PCIE is installed.

Any suggestions? I notice the Microsoft driver is installed. Is there some Samsung driver for the 950Pro? I found the Samsung magic drive software but there was not a update driver option. It also claims the firmware is up to date.

    Thanks in Advance

    Hi Meaker:
    BIOS E1782IMS.10D 10/15/15
    EC 1782EMS1/107 9/25/15

I was able to reduce the BIOS boot time to 10.9 seconds but still too long.

    Also I can confirm
    UEFI only mode (no CSM)
EFI system partition on the drive.

This was after I rebuilt Windows 10 2x times.

You need to run the Samsung NVMe Driver Installer on this page:
    http://www.samsung.com/global/business/semiconductor/minisite/SSD/global/html/support/downloads.html

If the installer shows the message "Samsung NVM Express Device is not connected. Connect the Device and try again." then you may be in RAID mode ("Storage Controllers > Intel Chipset SATA RAID Controller is present in Device Manager").

If so, you would instead need to download and install SetupRST.zip from the latest IntelĀ® Rapid Storage Technology (IntelĀ® RST) RAID Driver here:
