    Hey all, after dissapointment that the gt 725 was canceled, it appears that the 729 has been released in the UK (where i am :)) Therefore i am fairly sure I will be getting one soon!

    I have had a quick look at some of the topics here, and also a couple of websites/links and am a bit confused. Some of the specs contradict each other, and some seem wrong?

    Anyway, first link is for the GT729-253UK from CCL;
    http://www.cclonline.com/product-in...gory_id=383&manufacturer_id=0&tid=gt729-253uk

    This seems to have a 512 MB version of the card, i didnt think one existed for this laptop?

    Next link would be for the GT729-253BK-E from lambda tek;
    http://www.lambda-tek.com/componentshop/index.pl?prodID=B246055

    This dosnt show much for the spec, but the model number is different?

    Could someone please direct me to the best place(s) to purchase it, and which model i should get (what the differences are)?

    Thank you for your help,
    I hope this hasnt been posted before, but i couldnt see anything anywhere.

    Jamie

    The first one is a miss print, it has 1GB of vram, I do believe there is 2 models, one with quad core and other with core 2 duo, The quad one has a WUXGA screen and blu-ray while the core 2 duo has WSXGA and no blu-ray..
