Hey, I've got the GS63VR 6RF and recently a friend of mine destroyed his 7RF, I thought about transplanting the whole mobo into my 6RF or. Before i buy it off of him I was wondering if those motherboards are the same (size, cut outs, holes etc.). Also if they are, can i keep my screen, or would it be better to upgrade it for the 120hz panel used in the 7RF. The boards seem to be identical but i just need to be 100% sure.

The chassis is most likely fully identical but that isn't 100% fact. It was when going to the GT73VR 6RE/6RF to 7RE/7RF, so it is most likely the same for your stealth thin too. What screen do you have? As long as the 7RF screen is 100% identical to the original 7rf screen (i believe there were both 5ms and 3ms versions but do NOT quote me on this!!), it will work

Ive got the FHD Screen with a 30 pin connector, The 7RF screen has a 40 pin, so I will have to get a new screen as well. Unless there is some sort of 30 to 40 pin adapter that would work.
