    Hi all,

Looking into getting a GS60 Ghost Pro with 970m. Trying to catch up on all the forum posts thought I'd just make a thread.

It looks like the 1080 version does not have the yellow mustard color issue like the 4k screens do. Has there been a fix for the 4k screen?

Looking for some advice; would I be better off with the 1080p screen for video/photo editing?

Cheers (Admins; Please move to the GS60 Owners thread, couldn't delete this thread)

There's only one type of 4K panel used by MSI so there's really no fix for it unless MSI changes to a different part.

For photo editing I was really impressed by this screen. I never noticed a yellow tint, but didnt have a whole lot of time with it. Just enough to do our video review and view some of my favorite pics on it. I have since got a 4K screen for my desktop and have done photo editing on it. For that, I couldn't go back to 1080.

I think you should confirm the RGB score of the panel, or whatever score you need for editing. That way you can be sure which one will display the most accurate colors :)

Thanks all! Definitely a good idea to check RGB scores at least
