    Hey guys!

I've been reading a lot about these models but apparently not enough to make this decision alone.
Right now I own a MacBook Pro Retina 15'' and I love the damn thing. The screen, build quality and lightness of this machine were the main reasons I got it and I've been a very happy owner.
But I miss playing my PC games and need more space as I don't like to lug around external disks and cable.

I want a sleek and light laptop that's comfortable to carry around. I'll need it for some classes but I won't be carrying along all day. It absolutely has to have a minimum 3 hour battery time and achieve that time easily without being too careful about screen brightness, etc... (i.e- I want it to last 3 hours of wifi browsing, word processing, etc... with decent brightness to work comfortably).
On top of that I want a capable machine as I'll be playing mostly Battlefield 3 & 4, plus some other games of similar needs.

I'm leaning more on the GS60 Ghost 3K because it's lighter, smaller and has a bigger res screen plus it's a glossy type. It has a 860m which I'm OK with because i hear it doesn't get so hot and gets more battery life than the 870M GS60 Pro. And the GS60 is 200€ cheaper than the GS70.

    I'm looking at the GS60 Ghost 3K with i7 4710HQ, 16GB DDR3 1600MHz, 15.6'' 3K Glossy Screen, GTX 860M 2GB GDDR5, 128GB mSATA SSD, 1TB 7200RPM HDD. And the GS70 Stealth Pro with i7 4710HQ, 16GB DDR3 1600MHz, 17.3'' FHD Matte Screen, GTX 870M 3GB GDDR5, 2x128GB mSATA SSD in RAID0, 1TB 7200RPM HDD.
Main model differences are underlined. GS60 is 1600€, GS70 is 1800€.

    So my questions are:
How do these models compare in terms of heat, build quality and screen quality?
Which one of them should get me the most battery life?
I've read about user issues related to the wifi, touchpad, heat, etc... in both models. Which one has the best overall user experience normaly?
Which is easier to upgrade (i.e. - access RAM, HDDs and mSATAs)
How do they compare noise-wise? Both idling and full-load.
Does the 870m on the GS70 throttle under load? Or is it better at keeping low temperatures than its GS60 counterpart?
How does the GS70 with the 870m behave with custom BIOS? I see people getting slightly less performance to ger better temperatures, is the trade-off really worth it?

Thank you and excuse the long post!

Anyone? i'm also considering the Ghost Pro with the 870M, does that run much hotter than the 870m in the GS70?

    The 3K is $2000, not 1700, also it is a 870M...

i have the 3K and everything is good after some tweaks, only cons i have found are the glossy screen and the trackpack...

3K res is a pain in the for compatibility as of its high dpi, not mention the games... my games plays (older) play very well al 3k with the 870M, but some more recents like Bioshock infinite, can handle the 3k res only at medium or even low Quality

No 3K 870M version is available in my country, only 3K with the 860M, and it costs 1599€. So I can pretty much forget playing games in native res. That's a bit sucky but I appreciate the higher res while doing other stuff like video and photo editing.
