Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the speakers are on the GP60. How does the sound quality compare to other MSI or non-MSI models? The laptop will be used without speakers or headphones.

    Thanks in advance.

GP60 has good speakers, but they aren't as good as GT series with Dynaudio for sure.
MSI has been focusing on audio quality these years so generally they are better than other brands out there including ASUS notebooks.

Thanks for the reply. Good to see I've keyed in on the right manufacturer. The GT series will probably be out of the budget for this laptop. It's for my girlfriend to use as a multimedia machine so it doesn't need a great GPU. I figured a gaming laptop would offer the best in terms of audio and visual. Any other input or suggestions would be appreciated - whether MSI related or another brand.

Whenever someone is considering the GP or GE series, we advise upgrading the cooling options. Whichever reseller you go through, Rob, consider having the reseller at least upgrading the thermal compound. If they offer copper cooling for a decent price, that's worth exploring too (the thermal compound is more important).

And as Kevin said, while the speakers aren't as good as what's on the GT series, the GP speakers are decent laptop speakers. :)
