    Hey everyone!

I wanted to post my results with doing some tests.

Since I've received my GE72MVR a few months ago, it has been getting warm at times and I've noticed that a lot of other folks are having the same issue. So, off to some testing with the default hardware and build.

Here are my results with only using Intel XTU:
I am curious of your input and suggestions.

Other than swapping out the thermal paste (Of which I bought some Notua paste with the intent of eventually swapping what is on this thing already from he factory.), what have you done?

    Thanks for reading!

Thank you for the results on that. What temps were you seeing before the undervolting?

    Emily,

Thanks for reading and replying... the "default results" are the first set. These are with no modifications. The second set are with the first modifications and the third set are with the second modifications.

Guess I should preface this post, I did modify the fan controls via Dragon Center (1.2). Thus the results above would be slightly different than the default ones from the factory simply due to fan control speeds.

The fans really didn't kick in until the CPU reached 55c.
