I just got this laptop and I love almost everything about it ... except for the touch pad. My mouse cursor is constantly jumping around the screen and tapping the touch pad does not reliably register as a left click. I've tried the latest Synaptics drivers and it seemed like it made an improvement and then the same issues started up again.
I've read somewhere that checking the option for "momentum" while scrolling can cause issues with the Synaptic pad and I did check that option but now I can't find it anywhere in order to uncheck it--it literally seems to have disappeared.
Any ideas as to what's wrong with my touchpad and how I might fix it?

EDIT: Goddamnit. This is a KNOWN ISSUE. Looks like some sort of hardware flaw that MSI NEVER BOTHERED to fix ....

I was so happy with this laptop. I thought I'd finally found a laptop company that cared about quality and taking care of its customers ... I'm extremely disappointed to find out that, no, MSI might as well be Dell or any other company ...
