    Hi all,

I got this idea to improve my audio immersion by using headphones while gaming with this laptop, and ended up going down a rabbit hole of youtube videos trying to educate myself about this. One term that I never really knew about before I did this was impedance, as it applied to headphones.

I did use the search function but found nothing on this particular laptop. And, since it's the weekend, I'm thinking tech support won't be available, so I thought I'd throw it out to you all. Especially considering the extensive knowledge base.

Does anybody know what the impedance output of the GE63VR is? Which is a circular way of asking what the highest impedance headphone is that I can expect to drive without an external amp?

Most of the headphones should work well with GE63VR but the amp isn't that powerful to drive certain headphones that really requires an external amp because your system can't provide sufficient power to drive it.
Which headphone are you using? And are you having audio issues with it?
Please do check with MSI in regards to this spec.
