I am looking at laptops to replace my GS60 I7-4710HQ. Has been a great laptop though my focus stack panoramic photo merging and editing is really taxing my hardware so looking to upgrade. As my desktop with 64gb ram doing pan merges eats up to 46gb of ram I am looking for a laptop with 32-64gb ram.
Looking at the manual of both the GE63 RGB and the GT63 Titan I am finding the GE63 RGB has two M2 slot and a 2.5 sata. I am curious as the two M2 slots are listed one PCIe or Sata and the other is just listed PCIe. I would think one could use two sata M2 but this has me thinking one needs to be a PCIe.
Then looking at the GT63 Titan I find it is only listing One M2 slot and One 2.5 sata slot. Curious to me that it doesn't have two M2 slots.
Is that information correct that the GE63 RGB is capable of having two M2 drives and a 2.5" drive and the GT63 Titan is only One M2 drive and a 2.5" drive?

On the Newer Gt63 Titan with the coffeelake processors. I am only seeing 1 M.2 slot and 1 2.5" bay.

Would you be open to any other suggestion of MSI models? If you had a budget in mind I can certainly suggest some models

I am looking at other makes and models as well. Again thank you for confirming the info in the GT63 manual as accurate. -

Unfortunately, the manual is incorrect as it's not 2x M.2.
