Besides the obvious differences, will the GE suffice for most current title gaming? I am sure the GT with its 12GB of memory and GTX670 will outperform, but will the GE series perform well enough?
I am a Call of Duty, WoW, Diablo, kind of gamer.
I am assuming the screen quality is the same?
I dont think the GE series keyboard has a backlight, but does the case light up at all?
Any other differences between the 2, minus the hardware configuration?
Looking at picking up a GE70 but want to make sure that it will play whatever I throw at it with high success rates.
I apologize if this has been asked, but I have not seen many comparisons between the 2 series, minus the obvious difference in internals.
Thanks!

I think the GE70 w/660M can play those games at native resolution
and high details.
Have to let someone else speak to the screen. -
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M - Notebookcheck.net Tech
no problem for call of duty/wow/diablo on max.
it struggles with more intensive games like battlefield 3, witcher 2, crysis 2, metro 2033 but that is at 1080p resolution on ultra settings. it did more than fine with high settings.
The more important thing to remember hen comparing gt70 to ge70 (other than the GPU):
Do you want to spend $400 more for a backlight keyboard, brushed metal case, dynacare speakers, and a better touchpad -
