    How is this laptop? Is it similar to GX640? Does it have heating issues? Worth buying one?

    As far as I know, the 1656 series is just the GX640's product model number.

    According to Xotic PC :

    * Model: Force 1656-ID5 (Built on MSI 1656-ID5)
    * Display: 15.4" WSXGA+ Glossy (1680x1050)
    * CPU: Intel® Core i5 430M 2.26GHz
    * RAM: 2048 MB DDR3 1333MHz
    * HDD: 320GB 5400RPM
    * CD: DVD±R/RW / CDRW
    * Wireless: Built in Bluetooth + Optional WIFI

    I would go for the GX640-260US over the ID5, though that is just me.
    The GX640-098US I have has 4GB of ram vs 2GB, 500GB HDD vs 320GB, other than that, they are the same. The 640 is a tad more expensive though ( + ~2-300 CAD)
