Got a new msi gp63 leopard 428 model, i was in device manager updating drivers. I also updated the firmware, what worries me is during the update computer keeps turn on and off without msi or any start up logo. As soon the laptop was turned on its turned back off for 3-4 times before it started up normally. When i went back into device manager and reclicked update driver it tells me i have the latest. Anyone else its like this? i was so close from manually shutting the laptop down when it was in this boot loop.

They all do that - it is part of MSI's campaign of terror to make us think "OMG I've bricked it!!"

    Normal behaviour

That behaviour is described in the manual, just read the docs :)

Its the BIOS retraining the RAM timings, its normal.

I have the same laptop. You simply have to unplug the power brick when the system comes back up or it will loop. Once windows is back you can plug the brick back in and shutdown. It's all stated in the EC reset guide as mentioned.

It is normal. Please allow the process to finish completely, do not unplug power as it can potentially brick the system.
Some BIOS updates will update BIOS first and then ME after therefore your mileage may vary but just let it complete everything until it does not do that anymore.
