I'm iffy about the 16gb RAM and 240gb Intel SSD, but the back-to-school sale makes the overpricing negligible and I don't want to upgrade anything myself.

Still deciding between this and the Sager np9150. :(

I'm right there with you in deciding between this and the 9150. If you do go with this, make sure the ssd is in the 1st drive bay and the hdd is in the 2nd. I don't know what programs RAM uses up, so I can't give you my input on that. In the interest of saving money, people go with the least then buy aftermarket RAM for cheap. IMO, the ssd is great but if you want to save some cash, the crucial 256gb would be cool. Now when deciding between the 9150 and 16f3, I have been told that the msi fan is more silent than the dual Sager fans. The Sager is about .8~.9 lbs. less than the msi with an msata slot, HDD bay and opti drive. The msi barebone has 2 HDD bays and opti drive with a 720p camera and day audio speakers. I think the multicolor steelseries keyboard looks nicer than the stock Sager keyboard, but that's an opinion! In terms of how conspicuous each of them look, I think you may get less stares from the 9150, but since the msi is a barebone, it shouldn't attract much attention. When it comes to price vs. features, I'd have to say the 16f3 is better, but the 9150 is such a charming machine! It's all up to you and what features are important to you!

I had the 9150 but returned it.
    Stick with the 16F3.
    -Better sound quality
    -Better keyboard quality
    -Better webcam quality
    -Two hard drive bays
    -Lower price

I hated the 9150 standard keyboard. I would play a game, hold the W key to move, and once I stopped putting enough pressure on the already pressed down key, I would stop moving.

Wow really? I didn't think the ghosting issue was that bad, but that's kind of sad. Thanks for that info. CpxAzn! Now I think my mind's being swayed from the 9150 xD

Interesting, but have you tried the 16f3/gt60?

More importantly, has anyone with the new models (GT60/70) had keyboard issues? Also, I'd like to know which screen the stock matte is.
