I believe this model has only been on the market for a week or so and I can't find any info at all on it, but the specs look pretty nice and it can be had for around $799 and should handle some mid-range gaming I would think with the 325M video card.

    Official MSI page:
MSI Global ? Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Mainboard, Graphics and more

Specs of the 2 currently available models:

    MSI FX600-002US

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
    CPU: Intel Core i5 450M(2.4GHz)
    Screen 15.6" - 1366x768
    Memory Size 4GB DDR3
    Hard Disk 500GB 7200rpm
    Optical Drive DVD Super Multi
Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GT 325M (nVidia Optimus)
    Video Memory 1GB DDR3
    $799 US give or take

    MSI FX600-003US

    - Specs and price are the exact same as the above except:
    - CPU is downgraded to an i3 350M
    - Optical drive is upgraded to a Blu-ray / DVD-RW combo drive

The only other thing I've found on it is this one solitary video on youtube:
    YouTube - ‪MSI FX600 Gaming laptop‬‎

There is also a 14" model (FX400) but it's not being sold anywhere yet.

I've been on the fence with this one... if the video card was a little more powerful I think I would have already bought it, but the 325m seems like it might not be enough for me.

Very good deal, how many hours battery life does it have (probably a lot right, since it has Optimus)?

The MSI site lists a full HD optional screen.

    I'm interested in the 14in.

BUMP... Didn't want to start a new thread.

I'm considering this laptop because it seems like such a good deal. Can any owners give some input on the FX600?

And I've seen it for sale one with the 1366x768 screen, but MSI's website says there's a FHD 1920x1080 screen. What's the deal with that?

I love the laptop design -simple and naise.

Seems like there aren't any FX600 owners here.
