    Is it possible to put a low powered graphics card in the express card slot and turn off the 9600GT in order to gain battery life when not gaming?

    No that is 100% impossible on ANY notebook.

    Yeah, almost makes you wish that they waited for the GM45, had the 9600M GT AND the x4500 IGP like Asus did with the N10 (9300M GT & x3100 IIRC user switchable on the fly apparently...)

    Battery life in the big thread has been list as 2.5h w/powersaving option IIRC for the stock 6 cell battery. Haven't seen anything on the 9 cell optional extra battery though.

    I wish they had, some notebooks can get 4hrs + with integrated turned on. Guess I'm stuck with it now, not like it is the biggest deal, but would be nice. Is it possible to under-volt or -power the 9600GT temporarily to increase battery life?
