hi, i hope this is the right place to post this. my MSI GT70 GPU broke right after the warranty ends, and the fan keeps moving nonstop.
i';ve searched in this forum and it says to unlock the bios to enable the fan.
is there anyway to enable this bios setting without reflashing.
was gonna PM Dufus to ask for the new links on his eufi boot. but sadly i cant seem to PM,.

thank you in advance for your help!

You will have to flash the unlocked BIOS to get the option because the standard BIOS hides the option by default.
The menu is hidden and cannot be unhide using any hotkey.

Svet over the MSI forums can grab one for you. There may be one for download already at tech inferno though, check the threads there, just be sure to get the right one!

Change the GPU mode from switchable to IGP and it will return the fan to normal :)
