My friend has an MSI 1651 he hasn't flashed the bios to enable turbo button. But eco button still works for him. He clicks eco button and it shows a picture of a controller and says gaming mode, im pretty sure that doesnt overclock nothing, if it does Ima owe him because we made a bet. So just to make sure only way to overclock cpu is to thru the bios and enable turbo mode on it correct? And another thing anyone solve the problem of switching the fn and cntrl buttons I hate how they are placed on this laptop.

Setfsb should overclock the CPU.

you can OC through turbo OR setfsb . I'm pretty sure i came across a little guide or Firmware that does that .. The downside is that you need to dig very very deep through the "official GT725 thread"
EDIT: nacr05 knows how to do it. here's the post http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=349540&page=339&highlight=fn+control -

What's the highest percentage turbo will let you go ? 24% ? -

! well I guess he doesn't have much of a choice. Either he goes back to 1s or live with just 15% which is nothing...

And you can only go 10-20% with the 1.0s
