I have a MSI GS43VR with Kaby Lake processor and 1060 Nvidia card. Recently a Dragon Center update box popped up on my screen so I clicked okay and let it self update and do its thing. I recently went in Dragon Center and noticed Dragon Center isn't showing any temps or fan readings or anything for the GPU. So I figured the "self install update" that popped up 2 days ago was the culprit. I uninstalled it then installed the latest version from MSI, and when it was done, the "upgrade" box automatically popped up onscreen telling me a new version of Dragon Center was available even though I just installed the latest version from MSI's page and it upgraded itself again?? After reboot it still didn't show ANY readings for the GPU....zero (temps and fan speeds). Everything just says "N/A" for anything GPU related.
Any thoughts or help on this? CPU is showing the fan speeds and the temps as normal. All latest drivers from MSI's page, etc.
So i think this issue started when i let Dragon Center upgrade itself. Like I said, even after uninstalling it, rebooting, then installing the newest version from MSI's page, then rebooting, the "new dragon center upgrade" box still pops up and still no GPU readings for fan/temps.

Have you checked for updates on the other MSI utilities? I'm not sure if that is related, but seen it in the past where older versions of other utilities working in dragon center (SCM, battery calibration, etc) caused issues with the dragon center. Maybe uninstall it, check for updates on those programs and then re-install it. Could also try updating graphics drivers as well to see if that makes a difference.
Dragon Center Problem?
