Hi, I was wondering if taking your battery out and just using the AC adapter to power the laptop weaken performance? E.g CPU, GPU, etc.

This is of course with settings of both the battery and plugged-in set to high performance.

I just want to conserve the lifespan of my battery instead of slowly being drained to death.

P.S My laptop is an Msi brand.

I put the battery in only when I need my laptop to be mobile. When it's on my desk, the battery is always out.
