The only thing I've heard is sometime in the summer. Is there a more specific estimate?

i thought the linux version was only going to be a 3 cell battery and the xp version 6 cell
-
It is. June 14 i Believe??
-
I thought the only difference in the two was the RAM and OS. Can't I customize one with a 6-cell battery somewhere?
-
i'm pretty sure only the windows version comes with the 6-cell which is why that model will be $100 more.
-
I thought that just covered the cost of Windows. Any news on sites that will allow you to customize as far as RAM and battery?

The first batch to be released in Europe will have XP, 1GB, BT and 3 cells, according to my supplier.
-
I'm in the USA. Usually that appears. I guess since I'm posting from my Centro some of the information is left out (like my sig).

The battery shortage is still in full progress. The Eee 901 and 1000 are being launched with 6cells but the low capacity kind.
The Wind and Acer One both have a 6 cell option but look to be launching with only the 3 cell.
It might be ok. Buying a 6 cell of even large 3rd party battery later might be worth it. The 3 cells cut down the travel weight quite a bit. About 150-200g. Doesnt sound like a lot but with an 1kg laptop that is 20%. -
I guess you're right. Also, 3.5 hours is a lot of life too. I guess I'll just get whatever it launches with. What's the best place to get one from once they're released?

For USA and Europe?
Does anyone know when the Wind with Linux and a 6-cell will be released?
