Does anybody know if I can exchange my problematic Sager NP9150 for an MSI GT60 ONE out of 30 days?

I've had numerous problems with my Sager NP9150; I've had to get the keyboard replaced 3 times, and probably a fourth, and had to have the LCD replaced. I'm somewhat fed up with Sager and their quality control right now, but don't get me wrong, they do make great laptops. I was wondering if anyone in the MSI forums knows if I can swap out my Sager for an equally-priced MSI GT60 ONE past my 30 day return period? I bought through XoticPC and tried chatting with them, but no one was available. I'm assuming something can be done due to my problematic Sager NP9150? But I'm not totally sure. I also posted in the MSI forums because I wanted to get everyone's opinion on the MSI GT60 ONE: is it a pretty good laptop? It looks solidly built, and the keyboard and trackpad already look better than Sager's. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Since you are past the 30 day mark, I don't think you will be able to exchange your laptop unless you can persuade them to make a special exception.
You will probably have a higher change if you tell them that you will be purchasing another laptop from them rather than another company.

Yeah, I'll talk with an XoticPC rep and see if anything like that can be done. I would end up purchasing the MSI from them if I decided I wanted that. So essentially I'd just be returning the Sager to XoticPC and then order an MSI through XoticPC.

According to the XoticPC service department, Sager will end up replacing the entire laptop if it's sent in for a third RMA. So basically I can't swap it out, but it seems like if I keep having problems, Sager will just replace the entire laptop. They didn't really answer my question, but it's better than nothing I guess.

How was Xotic with handling your issue? What was the turn around time when you had to send it in?

XoticPC handled it well. For the first RMA, it took about a week and a half to get it back. I couldn't exchange the screen for another one, however. They explained to me that Sager cycled through about 40 different LCDs, and determined that the one I have currently was the best one, which makes me feel a bit better about the replacement. They also said that bleed at an extreme angle is not uncommon and is more evident in higher gamut screens. I'm just waiting on my keyboard replacement now! Overall, XoticPC did very well.
