That model is out already. It hasn't been out as long as some of the other GT72 models with 6th gen processors, and I think the dragon editions did get more attention in reviews. But you should be able to find some reviews on youtube, or even places like Amazon or Newegg you should be able to find owners reviews/comments.

Probably a Samsung screen. You should be able to find out pretty easily by installing HWiNFO 64, run it, then navigate to "Monitor" in the system information window (not the "summary" window). That will tell you the make and model of the panel.

Sorry for the not so readable way this is... I just got the machine and this is what I found so far.

Monitor Name: AU Optronics [Unknown Model: AUO109B]
    Monitor Name (Manuf): AUO B173ZAN01.0

The monitor looks real nice so far.

I am in the process of downloading games...I watched a few you tube 4k videos...they looked amazing...but lots of stutters....all the people are home from work so comcast is sucking right now.

So far I would say this is a very nice panel.

It is indeed the panel the Clevo P870DM uses. Excellent panel and 100% AdobeRGB if i'm not mistaken.

So now I am confused...this model is supposed to have "super Raid 4" but it seems I just have 1 256gig drive that is not in raid but set up as a AHCI drive. I thought this model was supposed to be set up with 2 super fast drives as a raid 0 drive.

I have the FHD model and I can confirm mine came with 2x Samsung PM951 256GB setup in RAID 0 for a total of 512GB as a single drive.

Where did you purchase your laptop from? (Link?)

Maybe someone took one drive out since it is refurbished.

Go into device manager and check your disk drives and let us know what you see.

The tamper seal is still intact so either this particular model did not come with 2 ssd's or someone took it out and then put a new seal on.

Maybe you somehow got luck if you have 2x 256gb in yours. It comes with a single 256gb in it.
