Or better yet, Have they ever built one? (no offense to msi, i'm just still losing hair over m18x vs MSI vs Asus if they ever offer the 680m, And the dual ssds from MSI are very tempting.)
Also , Build Quality, how well has the MSI say...GT70 held up for you owners out there?, the "HP elitebook" claims to have spot on build quality, but ill be dipped in chocolate before i buy from them again...

No they currently don't and they also have not ever. AFAIK, the only dual-GPU notebook being sold at the moment is the m18x.
MSI has the 680M GTX in their current lineup (pre-orders are up now) for the GT70/GT60 and most likely thewhitebook versions as well coming in the next month or two.
Build quality is subjective. I think HP Elitebooks are built like tanks, but I guess you disagree. MSI build quality is above average, but not rugged like business notebooks. A recurring problem seems to be the keyboard, but it may have been fixed by now. Your best bet is to check out the owner's lounges. -
Thanks, i guess i should clarify, im irked with hp mainly because of how they built this current laptop of mine (g72) , i cant get to the fan without taking the entire thing apart. My old Acer was one panel, instant access..

Oh, I guess you mean upgradability / taking apart your notebook? Also, isn't the g72 an Asus?
It takes 6 screws to unscrew the back panel and 1 for the fan and you have access to the: CPU, GPU, both HDDs, 2 RAM slots (the other 2 are under the keyboard). -

^that's the one that i have, guess i should have linked that as well, apologies. -
That's not an Elitebook. HP g-series are much closer to Pavilions, read consumer-grade quality, than they are to Elitebooks. Anyways, Pavilions are not friendly to tear-downs so I'm not surprised that your's wasn't as well.
Does MSI offer any Dual Card Builds at the moment?
