    Dear all,

I am desperate. My MSI (model GS60_6QE) whenever connects the wifi from the router (TP-LINK WR841N), the router wifi emmision stops and does not emit the wifi signal. The wifi emmission is blocked (in the router) and I have to turn it off / on to restore the wifi signal. However, if I try to connect again the MSI though wifi it stops working again.

All drivers are up to date, the firmware, etc., etc. It does only occur with this laptop. I have no problem with the other one I have. When I use a cable there is no problem, only when wifi is on.

I would much apprecciate any help to solve the problem.
    José.

Will the laptop connect to another access point? If you don't have another access point to try do a factory reset of the router and make a new ssid connect the notebook only and see if the problem persists. If it does well go find another access point and try it McDonald's is free. If it doesn't connect one device at a time until the problem occurs. The problem is unlikely to be with the laptop. Go to the configuration screen of your router and scroll through the list of mac addresses and see if a connected device matches your notebook. If so you need to disconnect that device before connecting the notebook. Very rare but can happen.

If you have manual ip addresses assigned see if you accidentally assigned the same ip to two devices.

i'm not sure if you've managed to fix it another way, but this was happening to me a while ago as well, and it has to do with the wireless adapter, the killer network 1535, so I changed it with the intel wireless dual band adapter 7265, and its been working like a charm ever since. I was using the same router and it just seems to be between the router and the specific network adapter which is really unfortunate.

    Hello Consby,

This thread came up in my search because you replied, so I figured I would address it, in case others came upon this thread. This router is known to us as having buggy firmware. We have a KB article on it here - http://www.killernetworking.com/driver-downloads/kb/faq/35-router-issues-with-1535. The manufacturer of the router has released firmware for the router that solves the problem, as well. That can be found here - http://forum.tp-link.com/showthread...aptop-with-Killer-adapter&p=195886#post195886.
