    looking for a replacement for my 980m in my msi gt72, will a dell gpu work? anyone can confirm?

    Use MSI vBios on it and it should be okey. else you may have to use modded drivers..

    It should work since it's similar, but as sasuke256 said, you may need to flash VBIOS (you can ask Svet for assistance) and/or mod the driver.

    i booted it up yesterday with the new gpu and windows started but nothing on screen at all. no video/no bios bootup. but i did hear the windows chime when loggin in.
