Theoretically I think it should work because they are using the proper chipset...
Just curious since the DDR3 might extend the battery, and it might be worth it down the road when ddr3 gets cheap.

no will not work at all.. ddr2 is 200pin ddr3 is 204 pin

The real gain DDR3 gives you is in battery life not power.

There are NO gains in battery life. K TRON has tested power consumption and the difference is less than 0.05W which is non-existent.

What K tron did there was interesting but i would love to see many sources showing comparisons.......Not taking anything away from him though the kid knows his stuff.
Yeah if you want to wait for the 628 that will probably be faster and run cooler(Gpu) good luck
