Hi,
just overclocke my GT73VR 6RT a little bit.
Unfortunately, I always get a Current Limit Throttling. On the internet I found a screenshot where you can find a setting called "processor current limit" in Amper

Have screenshot attached to me. Unfortunately, I don't have that attitude. My processor is a 6820K. Test straight 4x39 Multi with 39x chache and -60mv offset. There is the sweet spot where this doesn't happen anymore.

Hi @Bullzz
your problem is the 2047A setting.
Your Bios has a maximum cap of 250 amps.
if you go higher than this, it will "reset" it back to default. I am not sure if it keeps looping like that or not.
So sets your Amps in intel XTU to 250 and do not go higher.
In the system Bios, this is equal to a value of "1000" for "CPU VR Current Limit" or ICCMax, since this is divided by 4 (=250 amps) from the Bios raw value.
Hope you can understand my English.
tl;dr: never max out the sliders in XTU.
One time I got BSOD when I tried setting power limit 1 and 2 to unlimited (Bios maximum is 511 (raw value=500).greninga and thattechgirl_viv like this. -
setting your " current vr limit to 800" should fix it. what @Phoenix recommended. @Falkentyne why would you set it to 1000, any benefits over 800?

1000 is the highest limit. Going higher resets it to auto.
The OC menu allows you to go higher than 1000, but the (unlocked bios): CPU VR settings->Core I/A Domain ICCMax has a limit of 1000 here. Seems to be a bios programming bug. -

800 or 1000. You can't even pull more than 150 amps from these CPUs anyway, so a 200 amp (800 divided by 4=200) limit is more than enough.
