I can not get the fan to come on constantly even after pushing the cooler boost button on the s-bar. The button lights up but the fan does not react. My GT70 is fairly warm and the fan comes on only in very short bursts for about one second at a time, coming on about every 20 seconds. I just wanted the fan to come on at a constant speed for at least a few seconds. The other s-bar buttons seem to be working fine. Thanks for your time.

The fan should rev when the temperature readings call for it. Have you checked your temperatures using software?

Is the light staying on or fading out? The fan should gradually (but still fairly quickly) rev. It's not exceedingly loud though, so once you see the light stay on, put your ear next to the vent to make sure there is or is no response.
