    Hi guys,

I'm currently an Asus-owner trying to get a refund for a bad notebook (The A7Sv) and I've been surfing the net to find a perfect balance inbetween gaming and budget.

So far it appears that MSI notebooks offer the best price and performance combined. The GX623 especially caught my eye. I've contemplated the HP Pavillion too, but it's a bit pricey - but their support appears to be good here in Denmark. I was unable to find any complaints regarding the MSI support here in Denmark... Or any information about it at all. I only know what company takes care of it - that's all.

Eitherway, I want to know if any of you have had any issues with the GX623 or any other MSI laptop that has been way out of limits. I'd like to hear RMA-cases as well, if possible. But especially cooling wise - do the MSI notebooks offer decent cooling and airflow? I really cant be bothered with another laptop that dies due to cooling issues.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi Mr Penguin. I can't help you in the respects that I've never had to contact MSI for any reasons (other than asking them if its ok to open up my lappy :p), but, come to think of it, thats saying something, considering I've had my GT725 for some time now.

EDIT: Build quality could be a little more solid. This had been said many times though: You're never going to find the right combination of ligtness and performance WITH EXCELLENT BUILD QUALITY for a cheap price. What MSI does is gives us all this without the excellent build quality. Don't get me wrong, the laptops are solid, but you said you're a asus owner, so I think you'de notice it. That being said though, I've barely heard any stories of hardware failure. This aspect of their laptops are excellent.
