    Is there a way to use it with my wiimote? Also how do I use the CIR

    Problem with the wiimote is that it IS the infrared receiver. The transmitters (two of them) are actually on the sensor bar.

    I believe the intended use of the IR reciever is to get input from a Media Center remote Control, but it could probably be hacked to do more. I'm not sure what you intent with the wiimote, but they communicate most of their information (the gyroscopic stuff and button presses) via bluetooth, not infrared, and people have used them with computers, but you'd have to look that up online.

    using it to make pointer as a mouse function, but since it's already a receiver seems rather worthless to attempt now lol
