Hello all :) hope you are fine :)
I was considering this notebook but i read the review of MSI GT725 and it seems the only problem it has is its display which is average.
Does anyone know what's the difference between MSI GT729 and 725? is the LCD the same on both ?

The only differences between these two are DDR3 and 1GB vram on the 729 , DDR2 and 512mb vram on the 725 , the screen should be about the same , i kinda like my screen , good for gaming (some unlucky ones been complaining about bleeding) . what suck for me is the keyboard which is a little be cramped , the directional keys are too small and only 3 usb port(not enough for me). Go for the 729 ! You won't regret buying it ;)

the only thing i can complain about the screen is the lack of brightness in normal use .. but in game or movies it's not an issue at all . it's not the best but certainly not the worst out there on a 17"

it's a little bit on the dark side , not a deal breaker in any way. worth every penny. the sound from the built-in speakers is the best i've heard so far

Yeah he's pretty much spot on. I would like to see a bit more colour from the screen, but this could probably be changed quite easily through catalyst control centre.
