    Good afternoon guys,

I would ask to see if there are any who understand this particular laptop. I currently own the GT780DX laptop, with the graph dead. It came with the graphics gtx 570m.

I would like to know which graphics cards are compatible with this laptop.
I do not want to let die my laptop because I can not find compatible graphics card without having an extortionate price.

It is only compatible with NVIDIA graphics cards. Models GTX 570m, 670m, 770m (with mods). Could use some more particularly ?.

Could 470m ?. Do any other model more ?.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi raycol,

There are quite a few options, best to date is the 970/980m but requires heatsink modification or buying the correct heatsink for the card which is not easy.

You can get certain vBios versions of the 7970m again with modified or correct heatsink, it seems later models didn't post.

The 970m is going to give the best bang for buck at the moment with either the heatsink modification or with a heatsink from the current gt60 or gt70 models.

But I do not like the idea of 970m. I do not want to play with the laptop, I do not need a top-end graphics. Rather I would like to know that graphics are compatible with this notebook. Because with a gtx 470m or down, I would settle.

I only know ebay and aliexpress to buy the graphics.

Any help with shopping sites and compatible graphics?

That information would have helped in the original post ;)

To match with your current heatsink the 570M as a replacement is likely your best option. IIRC the 470M could have issues.

I know you aren't looking for a top end card, but I just listed a GTX 880m in the for $550 For Sale section here.... http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...-8gb-laptop-graphics-card-msi-branded.774052/

The MSI GTX770M works without any modifications. this is the only one Kepler Card for the GT780. The best Choice is the GTX970M, when you buy the MSI Version (from the GT72 Upgrade Kit)m, than you don´t need modify drivers. You need also a new Heatsink for Kepler and for Maxwell Cards.

Good afternoon, thanks for the replies. But paying $ 500 or more, I find abusive. But really thx.

I would use the graph integrate of intel. But although these models supports the processor, the motherboard does not support it. And it is a bummer depend on a graphic card.

I usually find gtx 670m for $ 160 or $ 250. Also find graphics gtx 470m for $ 80. For myself would use would buy the gtx 270m (if it exists).

Anyway, if we talk about amounts over '> $ 300'. Will return the laptop to the wardrobe.
It is very sad to put it there again ... I hope you give me good news.

Sorry bud, you can check the buy sell trade forums. I am sure there is someone there selling a card that would work for you.
