Does anyone know how to reprogram the rewind and forward media keys (on the top of the panel next to the Eco button) so that they are for up and down on volume? Annoys me to have to press FN + F7 or F8 everytime for voume.

Hi you can try AutoHotKey - this is a cool free app for controlling and programming those keys, I believe.

Can't figure out how to get it to work for the media keys on the MSI-1651, anyone else had luck with this program?

Any help with this issue? The forward and rewind are rarely (if ever) used, but changing them to control for volume would greatly help functionality. Thanks.

I may be overlooking something in the AutoHotkey program or looking at the wrong program in general, can anyone give any advice on this issue?

    Thanks for those.

Except for the rewind and fastforward keys don't seem to have the ability to hold them down, so it makes it much more inconvenient to have to press them very rapidly to get the volume to move at all. Did you run into this problem?

yea, there might not be a way around it, so i assigned them to the right alt key, the 'right click' key, and the right ctrl key that are in between the space key and the arrow keys, since i never use those and its more convenient to find than hitting the f7-f8 keys at the top.

I changed the same keys (don't remember ever using them) to the volume up, down and mute for 'Alt Gr', 'Right Click', and Right Ctrl key respectively. You are right, works great, more convenient than the F keys or the rewind, fastfoward, plus then I don't lose keys I use.

    Thanks for the help.
