So I recently tried to update my video card's driver to Catalyst 11.3, not realizing that I can only install drivers from MSI until I had already uninstalled the previous drivers. So I go to the MSI website to install the old 10.7 driver, but now they won't install either. The same thing happens as if I'm installing 11.3 from the AMD website: goes through the install process but doesn't actually install anything. Can anyone help me, I'm stuck at 800x600 resolution.

    Model: MSI E7405
    OS: Win7 64-bit
    Video Card: ATI Mobility 5870

driver sweeper all your ATI graphics drivers and fresh install the latest drivers from ATI.

You don't need to use the ones off the MSI website

Make sure that You're installing drivers for mobile cards. Desktop drivers won't work on a laptop.
